Then sometime later on... how considerably later, we'll by no means know... "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was above the area of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering in excess of the waters." (Gen. 1:2)... and God began to restore the earth. In verse 3, God didn't "create" gentle. He just mentioned, "Let there be light." And God informed them to fill the earth. It is fascinating that in the KJV, He instructed them to FILL the earth... but He told Adam to REPLENISH the earth. And you can't REPLENISH unless there was something there ahead of.

There are a couple of other passages scattered about that trace of the prehistoric time. God understood that we, "modern" gentleman, would be needing and making use of fossil fuels for virtually almost everything we do. How did we get them? From the prehistoric age. There was no magical compression of time that started with Adam's creation. Nor was there a development of dinosaurs in the course of Adam's time adopted by some mysterious disappearance.
